Born and raised in East Texas, John Wilder grew up understanding the importance of education,

community, and hard work. Raised in a family of educators and attorneys, John knew from an early age that he wanted to focus his career on serving others.

 

John earned his legal degree from the South Texas College of Law in Houston. While in law schoool, John gained valuable experience working in a litigation firm and clerking for a judge. He also worked for the University of Texas Athletic Department, where he assisted with reviewing and summarizing contracts.

 

John’s practice is focused in the areas of student issues, governance & employment law.
