OFFICE CLERK / RUNNER
Location: Austin

Walsh Gallegos Treviño Kyle & Robinson P.C., a mid-sized school law firm, is seeking a positive, reliable full-time office clerk/runner with superior organization and communication skills. Hours will be M-F: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. Please do not apply if you cannot work these hours.

 

Job duties include, but are not limited to:  Producing copies, routing faxes and other inter-office documents, relief receptionist back up, pick up, sort and deliver mail, stocking and cleaning kitchen/copy rooms, delivering documents to courthouse, clients & firm contacts. Must be able to lift or move items that are 50-75 lbs. and perform other projects as assigned by the supervisor. You must have a clean driving record, operating vehicle and up-to-date vehicle insurance.

LEGAL SECRETARY
Location: Austin

Walsh Gallegos Treviño Kyle & Robinson P.C., a mid-size law firm with offices in Texas and New Mexico, is seeking a Legal Secretary for our Austin office. Duties include document collection and preservation, document review, document production tasks, and maintaining case filing and databases.

 

Candidates must possess the skills to coordinate with teams, providing assistance such as drafting correspondence, creating power point presentations and handouts, filing, and preparing documents for meetings, hearings and conferences. Candidates should possess 2+ years of experience as a Legal Secretary. Must have excellent organizational, word processing, and professional level people skills. Candidates must also possess a proven history of handling multiple priorities with great focus in an efficient and effective manner. Excellent proofing, editing and writing/communication skills are a must. Candidates should be proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe/Nitro and Microsoft Office Suite. Candidates that are selected for an interview will be tested on their knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office Suite, proofreading and typing.

We have an excellent opportunity in our Austin office for a Paralegal to support attorneys in managing the litigation discovery process, document collection and preservation, document review, document production tasks, and maintaining case filing and discovery databases.

 

Critical skills include e-filing at all levels, case management, research and the ability to handle a varied docket. Candidates must possess the necessary skills to coordinate with their team by providing assistance such as scheduling, drafting correspondence, pleadings and other legal documents, preparing documents for hearing and filing documents electronically. Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience as a paralegal with experience in litigation matters in State and Federal court. Must have excellent organizational, word processing, and people skills and be able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent proofing, editing and writing skills are a must. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Location: San Antonio

We have an excellent opportunity in our San Antonio office for someone to serve a dual role as an Executive Assistant to the Managing Shareholder and also serve as a Client Services Assistant.

 

Candidate must be a quick learner and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively. Qualified candidates must be able to function both independently and with a team to find creative solutions to day-to-day issues with minimal direction.  Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Prior experience in a marketing department or law firm a plus. Experience in Adobe Creative Suite a plus, but not required.

 

In addition, Candidate must have:

-Excellent proofing skills

-Good time management skills, prioritization of tasks and follow-through ability

LEGAL ASSISTANT - FACILITIES & BUSINESS

We have been working in partnership with leaders in public education since 1983 and strive to make a difference in the boardroom, the courtroom and, most importantly, the classroom.

 

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Legal Assistant in our San Antonio office to support our Facilities and Business team. This position supports attorneys and paralegal in managing administrative work including: calendar management, filing, client communications, processing expense reimbursements, collecting and organizing documents, assisting in the preparation of real estate, construction and contract documents, and researching online county appraisal, property and deed records databases.

 

Candidates must possess the skills to coordinate with the Facilities and Business team members in providing the necessary assistance. Candidates must have the ability to proofread a variety of documents and to pay attention to detail; to organize and prioritize tasks from multiple sources, while working effectively to meet deadlines; and must have exceptionally strong organizational skills and work ethic to assure delivery of outstanding products to the firm’s clients in a timely and organized manner.  Candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant.  Extensive experience in construction and real estate matters is a plus. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. M-F.

 

Candidates must have excellent communication, organizational, word processing, and people skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple priorities with great focus in an efficient and effective manner and be a self-starter. Excellent proofing, editing, and writing skills are a must, as well as high proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience working with AIA documents is preferred.
