OFFICE CLERK / RUNNER
Location: Irving

Walsh Gallegos Treviño Kyle & Robinson P.C., a mid-sized school law firm, is seeking a positive, reliable full-time office clerk/runner with superior organization and communication skills. Hours will be M-F: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. Please do not apply if you cannot work these hours.

 

Job duties include, but are not limited to:  Producing copies, routing faxes and other inter-office documents, relief receptionist back up, pick up, sort and deliver mail, stocking and cleaning kitchen/copy rooms, delivering documents to courthouse, clients & firm contacts. Must be able to lift or move items that are 50-75 lbs. and perform other projects as assigned by the supervisor. You must have a clean driving record, operating vehicle and up-to-date vehicle insurance.

HELP DESK SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

We have an excellent opportunity in our Irving office for a Help Desk Support Technician to provide help desk support to users across the firm, assist with the maintenance of our intranet, and provide overview training to new employees. The position reports to the Information Technology/Facilities Manager.

 

This position will support the user community in technical problems they may encounter in the operation of software, hardware, operating systems, e-mail, etc. This position is responsible for the overall desktop operations and support functions in all office(s). This is an entry level position and may require travel to Austin and Amarillo, Texas and Albuquerque, New Mexico and be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays on occasion.  Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and have the ability push and pull packages and retrieve and replace objects from shelves of up to 8 feet high.

 

Hours are either 8:00 am – 5:00 pm or 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.  

We have returned to the office and this position is required to be on site each day.

LEGAL SECRETARY
Location: Austin

Walsh Gallegos Treviño Kyle & Robinson P.C., a mid-size law firm with offices in Texas and New Mexico, is seeking a Legal Secretary for our Austin office. Duties include document collection and preservation, document review, document production tasks, and maintaining case filing and databases.

 

Candidates must possess the skills to coordinate with teams, providing assistance such as drafting correspondence, creating power point presentations and handouts, filing, and preparing documents for meetings, hearings and conferences. Candidates should possess 2+ years of experience as a Legal Secretary. Must have excellent organizational, word processing, and professional level people skills. Candidates must also possess a proven history of handling multiple priorities with great focus in an efficient and effective manner. Excellent proofing, editing and writing/communication skills are a must. Candidates should be proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe/Nitro and Microsoft Office Suite. Candidates that are selected for an interview will be tested on their knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office Suite, proofreading and typing.

We have an excellent career opportunity in our Albuquerque office to support a high volume practice that serves clients throughout New Mexico.

 

This Legal Assistant position supports attorneys in managing the discovery process, document collection and preservation, document review, document production tasks, maintaining case filing and discovery databases, and client communication. Administrative and clerical tasks include calendaring and scheduling, filing, client communications, and processing expense reimbursements, along with other daily support needs.

 

Candidates must possess 3-5 years of legal support experience. Experience in litigation with an insurance defense docket is a plus. Critical skills include strong communication, excellent proofing, editing and writing, case organization and management, and the ability to handle a varied docket and multiple priorities. Candidates should have experience in scheduling and docket management, assisting with motions and briefs, drafting correspondence, and preparing documents for hearing and trial. Candidates must also be proficient in Microsoft Word, Adobe and Excel. Experience with Nitro is a plus.

Critical skills include e-filing at all levels, case management, research and the ability to handle a varied docket. Candidates must possess the necessary skills to coordinate with their team by providing assistance such as scheduling, drafting correspondence, pleadings and other legal documents, preparing documents for hearing and filing documents electronically. Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience as a paralegal with experience in litigation matters in State and Federal court. Must have excellent organizational, word processing, and people skills and be able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent proofing, editing and writing skills are a must. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
