ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Walsh Gallegos Treviño Russo & Kyle PC is a law firm devoted to serving public education.  We have been working in partnership with leaders in public education since 1983 and strive to make a difference in the boardroom, the courtroom and, most importantly, the classroom.  We are seeking a positive, reliable full-time Administrative Assistant for our San Antonio office with the confidence, charisma, motivation, and skill to manage the workload of the firm’s Managing Shareholder and Personnel Manager.

 

Responsibilities & requirements include:

  • Superior organization skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
  • A quick learner and the kind of person who can handle multiple tasks efficiently without being overwhelmed
  • Ability to function independently and on a team to find creative solutions to day-to-day issues with minimal direction.
  • Excellent communication skills with attorneys, staff and managers. 
  • A good understanding of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Duties will involve coordinating and scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, answering phones, filing, basic letter preparation, and other office duties.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor
  • Internet savvy, excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiasm and pride in work
  • Good time management skills, prioritization of tasks and follow-through ability
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality, with a professional, neat and clean appearance
