We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Legal Assistant in our Houston office. This position supports attorneys in managing administrative/clerical work and litigation support. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to calendar management; assisting with the preparation, filing, and services of pleadings; processing expense reimbursements; coordinating the collection, organization, review, and production of documents; maintaining case filing and databases; and client communications.
Candidates should possess 3+ years of substantive experience as a legal assistant. Experience in litigation support is a plus.
Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. M-F.
Candidates must have excellent communication, organizational, word processing, and people skills. Excellent proofing, editing, and writing skills are a must, as well as high proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
