General/Special Education Attorney
Location: Irving

Walsh Gallegos Treviño Russo & Kyle P.C., a mid-size law firm with a multi-state practice, is seeking a Legal Secretary for its Irving office to support a high volume special education and litigation practice that serves clients throughout Texas. This position supports attorneys and paralegals in managing administrative and clerical work including: coordinating the discovery process, document collection and preservation, document review, document production tasks, and maintaining case filing and databases.


Candidates must possess the necessary skills to coordinate with the legal team, providing assistance such as docketing, scheduling, drafting correspondence, and preparing documents or notebooks for case meetings and hearings. Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience as a Legal Secretary.  Extensive experience in litigation matters is a plus. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. M-F. 


Candidates must have excellent organizational, word processing, and professional level people skills, as well as an ability to handle multiple priorities with great focus in an efficient and effective manner.  Excellent proofing, editing and writing/communication skills are a must, as well as high proficiency in Electronic File Maintenance, Nitro, Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
