Bola is a native of Plano, TX and a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law. Prior to attending law school, Bola graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a major in Journalism-Public Relations. While at OU, she served Oklahoma public school students as a coordinator for after-school leadership programming. Bola attended law school with a specific focus in education law, clerking with the Texas Education Agency, Texas Association of School Boards and Walsh Gallegos during school. Bola was also very involved, and her activities included being Vice President and Of Counsel for the Student Bar Association, a society coordinator for Student Affairs, and a member of the Thurgood Marshall Legal Society. Additionally, Bola was a clinical student for the Entrepreneurship & Community Development Clinic and the Children's Rights Clinic.
Bola has always had a heart for education and uplifting youth. Outside of practicing law, Bola is the co-founder of the Too Fly Foundation, a nonprofit that has helped under-resourced and underrepresented students across the country study abroad. Bola’s parents came to the United States from Nigeria with the mission of putting their children in the best education system possible. Bola is a byproduct of great public schools and is proud to serve the clients of Walsh Gallegos.
Bola’s practice focuses on employment issues, student discipline, board governance and contracts.
