Adriana comes from a family of dedicated public-school educators in Laredo, including a retired school superintendent, a retired schoolteacher, and a parent engagement coordinator. Adriana’s upbringing and her own experience as a high school English teacher in Houston inspired a law career focused on good outcomes for children.
Prior to joining Walsh Gallegos, Adriana spent over a decade in public service advocating for indigent victims of violence and their families at a non-profit legal aid organization, and more recently enforcing laws prohibiting unlawful employment discrimination at the EEOC.
Adriana earned her law degree from the University of Texas School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from Rice University. She is a proud alum of Laredo public schools.
