Arieana Martinez grew up hearing about the positive effects, compassion, and commitment to students from her grandmother, who has served as a school bus driver in San Antonio for the past fourteen years.
Arieana focuses her legal practice in the area of special education. She represents school districts at Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) committee meetings, due process hearings, Texas Educational Agency (TEA) complaints, and assists with any other issues that may arise.
Arieana earned her law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law. There, she served as the Chair of the Board of Advocates. Additionally, Arieana served as a staff writer for the St. Mary’s Law Journal, Volume 53, where she received the Staff Writer Excellence Award for her writing abilities and dedication as a member of the law journal. Arieana also attended St. Mary’s University for undergraduate studies and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Spanish.
