Caitlin's passion for child advocacy began early, volunteering as a teacher’s aide in Florida’s public schools during high school. This experience sparked a lasting commitment to supporting children and families, shaping the foundation of her legal career.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a minor in English Literature from Barry University in Miami, Florida. During her undergraduate studies, Caitlin was actively involved with a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting financial literacy and advocating for parents and children facing social injustice. Her academic work was recognized with the prestigious Barry University Brink Award for her thesis examining human rights violations within the United States foster care system.

While attending Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio, Caitlin focused on juvenile defense, working to protect the rights of incarcerated youth. She also gained experience representing homeowners’ and condominium associations across Ohio and Kentucky. In this role, she collaborated with board members to draft and amend governing documents, tailoring declarations and bylaws to meet the specific needs of their communities.
