Elisabeth (Liz) Nelson focuses her legal practice on facilities and business, public information requests, and student privacy. She has represented school districts since 2008.
Liz assists clients in contract review and negotiation, real estate, construction, and purchasing on a daily basis. She advises clients on reducing liability and assists clients in meeting complex project deadlines and statutory requirements. She is a frequent presenter on topics from school construction, protecting student privacy, and responding to public information requests and subpoenas.
Prior to joining Walsh Gallegos, Liz served as an attorney serving school district clients with the Law Offices of Robert E. Luna in Dallas, Texas. Liz has many educators in her family and is proud to spend her legal career representing Texas school districts.
