Walsh Gallegos attorneys know school law. That is what we do; every attorney, every day.
Elisabeth Nelson focuses her legal practice on facilities and business, public information requests, and student privacy. She has represented school districts since 2008.
Elisabeth assists clients in contract review and negotiation, real estate, construction, and purchasing on a daily basis. She also advises clients on statutory limitations and reducing liability, and assists administrators in meeting complex project deadlines.
Prior to joining Walsh Gallegos, Elisabeth served as an attorney in the litigation department of the Law Offices of Robert E. Luna in Dallas, Texas. There, she represented and advised school district clients, drafted legal opinions, and was a frequent presenter on topics from school construction contracts to protecting student privacy, and responding to public information requests and subpoenas.
