Jeff Crownover brings a unique blend of legal, educational, and executive leadership experience to Walsh Gallegos. This marks Jeff’s second tenure with the firm, where he previously represented Texas school districts before serving in senior leadership roles in Texas public schools, including General Counsel for Lewisville ISD and Prosper ISD and later Deputy Superintendent in Prosper ISD. His firsthand experience advising and leading school districts gives him a practical understanding of the legal, operational, and governance challenges facing public education today. Before entering the practice of law, Jeff began his career as a social studies teacher and coach, experiences that continue to shape his approach to serving educators, school leaders, and school boards.
A native Texan, Jeff comes from a family deeply rooted in public education. His mother is a retired educator, and his father is a retired teacher, coach, and principal, making public education truly the family business. Jeff is a passionate advocate for Texas public schools and believes it is his calling to use his background, expertise, and commitment to support the educators who serve students across the state. He is dedicated to helping school leaders navigate complex challenges while advancing opportunities for students, educators, and communities throughout Texas.
