Joe A. De Los Santos was born in Weslaco, Texas. His close-knit family instilled in him the importance of education, the value of hard work, and the significance of service. Through their sacrifices, Joe was able to attend the University of Texas School of Business and Law School.
Joe began his career with Walsh Gallegos in 1998. He has represented public schools throughout the state in litigation involving employment, constitutional, and civil rights claims in both state and federal court.
In 2009, Joe was asked to lead the San Antonio office, and in 2010, to serve the firm as Deputy Managing Shareholder. During this period, he assisted in managing the Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio and Albuquerque offices as well.
In 2014, Joe was elected by his colleagues to lead the firm as Managing Shareholder. In this role, Joe is proud to continue a rich tradition of service-based leadership assisting an amazing group of attorneys in their dedication to public schools.
