Karla Schultz has a longstanding interest in public education. She focuses her legal practice in the areas of governance, employment, and student law.
In addition to consulting with clients, she frequently speaks and writes on education law issues, on both the state and national level. She has recently researched and written on bullying and prevention.
Prior to attending law school, Karla was the federal education policy and guidance manager at the National School Boards Association.
She gained first-hand experience with the challenges school districts face while teaching middle and high school in the Albuquerque public schools.
