Kaylyn comes from a family of educators and administrators who were raised to always make public education a priority. Her mother served as a Special Education Director, giving Kaylyn insight into the day-to-day challenges and joys of serving special education students. She now holds steadfast in her belief that the public school system is the key to creating and maintaining a just society.
Kaylyn first met with several of the Walsh Gallegos attorneys as a senior in high school while trying to figure out what she wanted to be when she grew up. Several years later, she was a summer clerk for the firm and quickly decided to make this place her professional home. She now serves as one of the Summer Clerk Coordinators and loves helping other aspiring attorneys discover their passion in law.
Kaylyn earned her law degree from Baylor Law School. There, she competed on multiple advocacy teams, externed for Federal US Magistrate Judge Jeffrey C. Manske, and served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children in the foster care system. Prior to law school, Kaylyn earned her Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a Minor in Leadership Studies from Texas A&M University. Whoop!
