Leandra Costilla Ortiz was raised in the Rio Grande Valley and is proud to focus her legal practice on strengthening the area’s public schools. She practices in the areas of litigation, employment law, student law, board governance, and immigration.
Before joining Walsh Gallegos, Mrs. Ortiz served as the first in-house staff attorney for the Brownsville Independent School District where she worked on school employment and personnel issues, general school law, and civil litigation.
Leandra began her legal career as an associate for the Law Office of Frank Costilla, L.L.P. where she practiced primarily civil litigation. She went on to establish the law firm of Costilla & Ortiz, LLC where her practice focused on civil litigation and family law.
