Naomi grew up hearing tales about the classroom from her grandmother who served as an elementary school teacher and substitute after her retirement. Prior to joining Walsh Gallegos, Naomi was an Assistant General Counsel for Frisco Independent School District, where she provided support in multiple areas including general education and special education. Her main focus was student issues. Before joining Frisco Independent School District, she worked at a large charter school network in DFW where she provided support as the Manager of Legal Affairs and Compliance, focusing on student discipline and legal risk management.
Naomi earned a Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School. While in law school, she worked as an advocate supervisor for Court Appointed Special Advocates, where she helped advocate for victims of child abuse and neglect. Naomi also earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of North Texas.
