Walsh Gallegos attorneys know school law. That is what we do; every attorney, every day.
Paul Wendland has many years of experience related to public sector construction, real estate, and business transactions. Prior to law school he worked in the Texas Senate for the late Lt. Governor Bob Bullock tracking the activities of the Senate Finance and Jurisprudence Committees.
During law school Paul worked for the Zachry Construction Company and after graduating, worked in both the public and private sectors in real estate development and public infrastructure construction as well as government entity regulation. Paul joined Walsh Gallegos after working in the Development Services and Public Works divisions of the San Antonio City Attorney’s Office and the public finance and real estate development practice groups at two large corporate firms in Dallas and San Antonio.
Paul has a history of public and community service and fully appreciates the opportunity to continue such service by assisting public school districts throughout Texas with facilities construction, real estate, and business transactions. He has served on the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce leadership selection committee, Child Advocates San Antonio Board of Directors, and is a graduate of Leadership San Antonio. Outside the office he enjoys baseball with his son and spending time with his family roaming around west Texas, the nearby hill country, and the gulf coast.
