We are so excited and proud to announce that one of our law clerks in the Irving office, Trilby Argubright, has passed the Texas State Bar and is now a licensed attorney!!
Trilby Argubright has been dedicated to serving public education throughout her career. Before attending law school, Trilby taught seventh grade English in the Dallas area. It was this classroom experience that led her to pursue school law.
Trilby earned her legal degree at Vanderbilt University Law School. While attending law school, she was involved in Moot Court, Phi Delta Phi Honors Society, and served as a Student Attorney in the Turner Family Community Enterprises Clinic.
Trilby started working for Walsh Gallegos during her first summer of law school and focuses her practice on transactional work and general school law.
Houston Attorneys Blake Henshaw and Morgan Beam attended a local Education Foundation Gala at the Minute Maid Park this past Saturday. The Gala brought community leaders together to benefit the foundation by raising money through sponsorships and special auction items.
Walsh Gallegos is very proud to support efforts towards making public education a priority in our communities.
We are excited to see everyone at TASA/TASB Convention in Austin, TX this week.
We also have attorneys presenting:
We are fast approaching a major milestone for our law firm—35 years! We opened our doors on September 1, 1983 with three attorneys and a secretary. We now have five offices in Texas and one in New Mexico. Like you, we have come a long way in the last 35 years. And like you, we are excited to begin a new school year and continue our work together. At Walsh Gallegos we believe that public education makes a difference. That belief, and the desire to work toward making a difference in our communities, is why we are here today.
We hope you enjoy this short video that celebrates the power of your work—because it matters.

After 20 years with Walsh Gallegos Treviño Russo & Kyle, George E. Grimes retired on January 2, 2018. Here are a few words from him, "It has been an honor to serve public school districts throughout Texas and a privilege to have worked with the outstanding attorneys, paralegals and staff in the firm dedicated to service to public education."
We wish George all the best in his retirement and thank him for his service to public education and the firm!
